Few general ideas id like to see,for this front like fighter class:

Regain-1 for every 5 lvs of dd
Thorns-3 for every 10 lvs of dd
Mining 1 point 5 class levels or 10 class levels=dwarf race should get free mining.
flask of gut busting ale=its what dwarfs crave.
Sense the shield ring sucks in my opinion, make an 1 handed area attack ring based on Con,and at least 2 lvs of dd.
I once played on a server that DD's had a circle effect that would last a few turns based on taunt and would stop enemy's from passing the dd once inside of the circle, made it feel like a real tank,I'm not sure the scripting on it but might be a good idea.
just a few ideas if i think of more ill post them up.
